Meet Our Team

Below is our incredible team of Officer Staff. This group of men and women are an inspiration to our department and a pivotal role in our success.

Robert Homman

Chief

31 Years of Service

About Chief…

Chief Homman has had a remarkable 31 years in the fire service. Rob was a volunteer firefighter for many years before he decided to pursue it full time at the City of Whitehall in 1995. As if his 31 years in the fire service isn’t enough, Rob is also a U.S Army veteran. When he’s not here at the firehouse or teaching a thermal imaging class he enjoys spending time at home with his wife Kris, his children, and grandchildren.

Craig Fisher

Operations Chief

20 Years of Service

About Operations Chief…

Operations Chief Fisher has been with the Utica Volunteer Fire Department for many years where he served as Chief for many years. When the new fire district formed, Ops. Chief Fisher earned his way to his role by his extreme dedication to not only our members here at County Line, but to our entire community. When Craig isn’t at the firehouse, he spends time with his wife, Jennifer watching his son, Logen play college football, riding motorcycles with his other son, Dakota who also serves on our department. Thank you Ops. Chief Fisher for everything you do!

Sam Edwards

Operations Chief

6 Years of Service

About Operations Chief…

Operations Chief Edwards is a new member of our district. Chief Edwards comes to us with a different perspective as he works full time on a ladder and ambulance on the west side of Columbus seeing upwards of 20 patients per shift. Chief Edwards is also very heavily involved in our Monday night trainings here at County Line, as he is always looking for challenging trainings for our members to better serve our community. When Sam is not working on the west side, or here at CLJFD, he resides in Knox county with his wife, Mary. They have a beautiful red lab named Rosenbauher, Rosie for short. Thank you, Ops. Chief Edwards for all that you do!
