About us.
County Line Joint Fire District was formed of current members from Utica Volunteer Fire Department (UVFD) and Utica Emergency Squad (UEMS)
For more than 100 years, UVFD and UEMS were comprised of paid-staff and volunteer members. As the Village of Utica progressed, the members of both departments decided it would be best for our community to provide 24/7 Fire and EMS coverage for the Village of Utica, Washington Township, and Morgan Township.
Together, we have created County Line Joint Fire District. A government entity that allows us to provide the best of emergency medical care and firefighting operations responding to over 1,000 911 calls annually.
The 29 members of County Line Joint Fire District are thrilled to serve our community.
